Summer 2012

 Hi, Kinsey and Family!

We hope this summer is finding you well and happy. I just realized how long it's been since I posted pictures on here, and I apologize. I hope that you haven't felt out of touch from us - for me, talking with you on the phone, texting and Facebook helps me to continue to feel connected to you!

Scarlett is such a doll and is doing great. She's getting to that funny age where they start talking, saying funny things, and having opinions about things! She's still not saying too much, but has a few words down (Momma, Dadda, sissy, shoes (go figure! :), dog, baby, cheese, juice, bobba (bottle), sippy, what's that?, here, that, grandma.)

She loves to dance and has the funniest dance moves which she will bust out anytime she hears music. She loves dolls and babies. When we are at church she is looking around for, and locating babies, the whole time. She has a baby cousin named Penny that she adores, and tries to hug/kiss/smother(??), every time we see her. It's very cute. She loves Stella and will follow her around the house all day, doing everything she does. She loves to swim and is pretty good with just the arm floaties on. She'll float around for quite a while in those. She loves to draw, paint and color. That's her favorite.

She had a well-check this week and she is 34 inches and 23 pounds. That's 97% for height!..and 33% for weight. I can't believe she is so tall! She got three shots while we were there, but she did really well...cried just for a second. She was shy of the doctor and was hiding her eyes with her hands most the time!

As summer wraps up, we're going to go to our cabin one more time and then to California for some beach time and Disneyland...I think the girls are excited - but I'm probably more excited! Ha, ha. Then it's back here to move into the new house toward the end of August.

We love her so much and we love you!

Winter 2011 - 2012

Hi, Kinsey and Family!

We hope you are all doing well. Here are a few recent pictures of Scarlett. Some are kind of random and some are from our family pictures we had taken just before Christmas.

The baby is doing very well. She's getting so big and starting to seem more like a toddler and less like a baby, at times. It's very sad! Ha, ha. Her hair is still a little bit reddish, and also blonde. It's the most beautiful strawberry blonde color. I hope she can keep that color! It's also very, very curly! It's really beautiful. As you can see, her eyes are also still blue and we're pretty sure at this point they're going to stay that way.

She is starting to say a few words...mama, dada, please, what's that?, go, no, and she sometimes imitates other words that she hears. She is also walking! She is very mobile now and just walks around everywhere. It's so cute.

She is very much a mama's girl right now - which, of course, I secretly love. Ha, ha. But, it gives Cameron and my mom and sisters something to work for! :)

She is starting to get to an age where she knows that if she cries and throws a fit, then she can get what she wants. So, she tries it out often - and it works on almost everyone. Lol. Sometimes she even lays on the floor and kicks while she cries. It's too funny. But, most the time she is a little sweetheart.

She's still in the upper percentile for height (about 80%) and only about the 25% for weight. So, she's kind of tall and thin, I guess! She's been very healthy, until this past week when she caught a cold and croup cough. It's been sad and no-fun for her. Poor thing. But, I think she's finally starting to get over it. So, we're happy about that.

We love you and are so grateful for you. Scarlett is a joy in our lives and in the lives of all those around her. We love her so very much - with all our hearts.

September and October, 2011...

Hi, Kinsey and Family!

We hope you're all doing well. We are finally starting to get some fall weather, but so far it's still been very warm here this season. We're looking forward to our first holiday season with Scarlett as a part of our family!

She is just getting into such a cute stage where she laughs a lot and is very interactive. She is crawling everywhere and is now pulling herself up to a standing position on furniture, etc. So, she'll probably be walking before we know it! She watches her sister all day and tries to do the things Stella does. She is busy, busy all day long and it keeps us busy too, running around after her! She's very curious about everything, always exploring around the house.

She is saying mama and dada and no-no and is starting to eat all kinds of stuff. She likes her baby food - but likes real food more! :)

She is still sleeping great, taking two naps a day and going to bed around 6:30 at night and sleeping until 6:30-ish in the morning.

She is being Tinkerbell for Halloween and looks adorable in her little outfit.

We hope you enjoy the pictures. Scarlett is such a joy in our lives. We just love her so much and are so grateful to have her and for the sacrifice you made. We now can't imagine our lives without her.

Thank you for everything.

Love,

The Webbs
