6 Weeks Old...

Hi, Kins and Family!

I just wanted to share a few of the pictures that we got back today....I also added a digital version of her birth announcement below...but you'll be receiving one in the mail too as soon as we get them!

Can you believe she is already going on 7 weeks old? It's amazing how time flies. She is getting big and chubby now! LOL. Although I'm not sure what her exact weight is. We'll be going into the doctor next week for her first round of immunizations :( and they'll obviously weigh and measure her then. So, I'll let you know. But, my guess is that she's at least nine pounds now.

She's started smiling this week. It hasn't been very often yet, but she smiled twice at me. It's so cute!

She loves her baths and just lays there all quiet and still while she's in there. She likes to watch people's faces now and looks at them with a look of amazement / concern on her face while she observes. It's so funny.

She's starting to sleep a little better now - usually going for one slightly longer stretch between about 11 pm and 3:30 or 4 am. So, that's good! At least it's during the right time of day! Hopefully that stretch should continue to increase in length as the weeks go on. Her eyes are still a deep blue - haven't changed yet. Not sure if they will or not. Her hair is still red and adorable.

Stella and her cousins all love to watch her and play with her. Her girl cousins who are six and eight are just dying to hold her and "babysit" her, whenever possible. They think she's a little doll and want to put her in their doll strollers and cribs, etc. Ha, ha!

We're having so much fun with her. She is a special and beautiful little girl.

Hope you're all doing well and surviving this cold-weather! It has even been cold here! So, I can't imagine what it must be like there!
