Summertime 2011...

Hi, Kinsey and Family!

We hope you're all doing well. We are just making our way through the hot summer months and anxiously waiting for the fall! :)

Sorry it's been so long since I posted. I didn't realize quite how long it had been until I logged in here today! So, there are quite a few pictures below for you.

Scarlett is doing great. She's such a beautiful little lady. She's such a sweetheart. That's the best way to describe her! :) She continues to love everyone and waits for people to look at her so that she can give them her big (now toothy!) smile. It's such a cute smile, people always laugh and talk to her when they see her smile. She's getting bigger all the time and growing more mature. But, she seems to have slimmed down a little bit! Maybe it's all the crawling/army crawling that she's doing.

She is now constantly in motion. There is no stopping her!...and she's fast. If you look away for two seconds, she's crawling away. Such a funny girl. She's now at that stage where you have to constantly pick up every little tiny piece of lint, food, etc, that might be on the floor or she will find it and put it in her mouth.

She's also saying 'mamma' and 'dadda' now. It's not really on command yet...but more when she wants one of us to pick her up or is sad...then there's no mistaking it, she says our names! It's so cute. She also shakes her head 'no' when she doesn't want something you're trying to give her...also so cute.

We went to Disneyland a couple weeks ago and she did so well. She had a great time and was in a good mood all day! She liked rolling around in the sand on the beach too - and kept trying to eat it.

Our sealing to her was so wonderful. It was really a great day. We were so excited to get to take her to the temple with us and with Stella, and have her sealed to us forever. There is nothing quite so special as a sealing of a baby to a family. (In my opinion!).

Kins, we were so happy to get to have you come visit for the blessing and we missed you when you left. Stella is still naming her dolls Kinsey. I feel really bad, I don't know how this got past me...but I didn't get any pictures of you with her / with us, while you were here!! I really wish I had gotten some. I'm sorry about that. You'll just have to come visit again, so we can get some more pictures! :)

Well - again, we hope you are well. Scarlett is the light of our lives. She's just a special little soul. We love her so much. Words could never express our love for her, and for you...and our gratitude for you and the sacrifice you made. It is never far from our minds.
