Hi, Kinsey and Family!
Can you spot Scarlett in this bunch of Easter Egg Hunters?! We had a great Easter with Scarlett and while she was not old enough yet to appreciate all the fun going on around her - we still had a great time taking pictures of her and her sister and cousins had fun holding her and helping her join in the fun.
Scarlett is doing so well. She's really starting to get her own little personality now. She's a laid back little baby who loves to smile and is even laughing now. She loves to be held...as long as you are holding her, she is almost never fussy. She's not really picky yet either, which everyone loves - in other words, she's not a mama's or daddy's girl yet. She'll pretty much go to anyone and be happy and smiley.
She had her four month check-up a few days ago and got four shots! :( She weighed 14.2 pounds and is 26 inches long. She was in the 69% for her weight and 97% (!) for her height! Everything looked good. She's very healthy.
She's working on learning to roll over right now. She can roll from front to back (not all the time - but most the time she can and will). She's just about to roll from back to front. She's still working on it - but she tries every time she lays on her back! I need to let her lay on the ground more and just practice rolling around, I guess. But, it seems like we're just always holding her or she's laying in her bouncer, which she loves.
She's sleeping a lot better now and a lot more consistently...but she's an early riser! She gets up every day around 5:30, all bright eyed and ready to go! So, Cameron and I are now also getting up at 5:30 ! :)
She's a sweet heart and we love her so much. My heart just swells with joy and gratefulness every time I see her or hear her little voice. Every day, several times a day, I just think about how fortunate and blessed I am to have two beautiful, healthy, happy and perfect little girls. It feels like a miracle - and it is. Thank you!
I hope you're all doing well.
Love, Jenny, Cameron, Stella and Scarlett (or Scarlee as Stella calls her!)
Mom and the two girls on Easter morning before church. We were running late (of course!), but took a few minutes to at least take a few pictures before we left. The girls looked so cute in their little Easter outfits.
Stella, Scarlett and their cousin Max checking out their eggs after the Easter Egg hunt. We have an Easter brunch at my parents house every year on the Saturday before Easter. All the family comes and the kids get to have a big Easter Egg hunt. It was really fun this year with the two girls.
Scarlett with Grandma at the Easter Brunch.
Scarlett hanging out with her closest cousin (in age!), Drake. They're only about 10 days apart.
Scarlett hanging out with Dad during Brunch.
Scarlett doing some tummy time while we watch TV.
Stella decided she wanted to do 'tummy time' along with Scarlett. So, there they are!
Such a cutie!
